I’m kind of torn on it. As long as it’s consensual, I think it’s okay - a lot of people, both men and women, are into being dominated aggressively, and this is nothing to be ashamed of.

On the other hand, there may to be some connection between how mainstream porn projects sex as synonymous with violence against women and how women must be treated (at least to some degree) in their lives by men. I don’t know any statistics linking rape porn to sex crimes, but if you want to see an interesting take on pornography’s relationship to the sex industry, I recommend checking out the documentary Not A Love Story. It’s a bit outdated, but still relevant.
